Termite Control

Termites Biology

There are four major types of termites: drywood termites, subterranean termites, mound and arboreal termites, and dampwood termites.

Termites are social insects living in colonies within a caste structure. Castes consist of alates (winged- adults), reproductives, workers and soldiers. Workers are most numerous in the colony and are responsible for food collection. Alates are responsible for dispersal and reproduction. Soldiers are responsible for the defense of the colony.

There are three general developmental stages: egg, immature, and adult.

Economic Importance Of Termites

Termites feed on wood and products made of wood or wood-derived material. Wooden structures in buildings, wooden furniture, books and paper are some products that can be totally destroyed by the feeding activities of termites.

Our Approach

  • We can solve your ant problem quickly and, needless to say, our solutions are perfectly safe for your family and pets.
  • The ant control process begins with the technician identifying all ant satellite colonies and nests.
  • Although various baits and bait formulations are available, the primary methods for ant control are nest and barrier treatments.
  • Perimeter treatments are also often commonly applied to the exterior of the structure.
  • A treatment will then be applied to the ant colony’s trails and nest. To ensure that no new trails are established after the initial treatment, a follow-up appointment will be scheduled 7-10 days later.
